Boundaries
Pehmen never holds money, never calls anything scam-proof, never promises consumer protection it cannot deliver, and never lets Test touch Live; and it publishes no pricing, SLA, residency guarantee or certification until each one is real.
Written for everyone; read it first if you are short on time.
These are not disclaimers written by a lawyer. They are rules the product's own copy is bound by, and the software enforces the ones that can be enforced.
Pehmen will never
- Hold fundsAt any phase. Not yours, not your sellers', not your buyers'. Money sits with the licensed provider and moves on Pehmen's instruction only after the checks on How it protects a payout.
- Be MoRPehmen is not a merchant of record and not a payment facilitator. It does not appear on anyone's statement.
- Say scam-proofNothing makes a marketplace scam-proof. Pehmen makes your rules, your data and your verification steps enforceable and tamper-evident. That is the whole claim.
- Protect consumers' moneyPehmen does not offer consumer PayNow protection, does not participate in any shared responsibility framework, and does not insure anything. Buyer funds are protected by the provider and the law, not by this product.
- Let Test touch LiveTwo sets of objects, no promote-to-live path. A live-shaped key in a test connection is refused before it is stored.
- Invent proofThere are no customers yet. No testimonials, case studies, benchmarks or loss-prevention statistics appear anywhere, because none exist. The seeded demo is labelled synthetic.
- Edit the pastThe audit log is append-only and hash-chained. Evidence is tombstoned, never deleted. Superseded policies are retired, never removed.

What the rest of this site may say
Every other page describes a screen, a call, a record or a refusal you can reach yourself in the Test environment. Where a page describes a protective behaviour, that behaviour comes from your own data, your own rules and the verification steps the workflow enforces. If you find a sentence that goes further than that, it is a mistake.
