Frequently asked questions

In one sentence

Every answer on these pages is short, in plain words, and links to the screen, the call or the rule that makes it true; if an answer is "not yet" or "never", it says so.

Written for anyone with a question, technical or not.

The five most asked

Does Pehmen hold my money, or my sellers' money?#

No. Never, at any phase. Money stays with your licensed payment provider (Stripe, HitPay or Airwallex). Pehmen sends that provider instructions after its checks pass. It is not a merchant of record and not a payment facilitator. Boundaries.

Do I have to change payment provider?#

No. You connect the provider accounts you already have, with your own credentials. Pehmen sits in front of them and drives them. Compared to what you have.

Is it live? Can I use it for real money today?#

Every workspace is in the Test environment, on your own provider sandbox credentials, with real sandbox traffic. Live is fully built and gated by an entitlement no workspace holds yet, behind a deployment switch that is off. There is no self-serve path to Live and nothing converts from Test. Test and Live.

What does it cost?#

Pricing is not published. The trial is self-serve and free to run in Test; the commercial conversation follows a qualified trial. Pilot and activation.

Will it make my marketplace scam-proof?#

No, and the product will never say so. What it does is make your own rules, your own data and your own verification steps enforceable by software, and make the record tamper-evident. How it protects a payout.
